Welcome to St Chad's Catholic Primary School

St Chad's is a safe, caring and highly successful school, rooted in Gospel values, where children enjoy the many opportunities offered to them. We are a Catholic school serving children of varying faiths and backgrounds. We are inclusive and welcoming, fostering a sense of belonging and respect for every child's uniqueness. 

We are also an ambitious school, aiming to achieve the highest academic standards of which each individual is capable. The entire St Chad’s family works together to live out our school Mission Statement. To support this mission, our curriculum has been carefully designed to promote human flourishing in all its forms, enabling children to “be who they were created to be” so that they can make the world a better place.

The school benefits from both the challenge and support of a very active Governing Body, whose members give their time generously to help us continually improve. I have the privilege of serving our community alongside a skilled, dedicated and hard-working team of teachers, teaching assistants, office staff and welfare assistants, as well as our catering manager and site supervisor.

Close bonds with our parish support the spiritual life of the school and help to create a loving community with a shared sense of purpose.
